In this workshop, we will:
Define Policy and Advocacy: Gain clarity on what we mean by policy and advocacy work in the context of youth development within our OST ecosystem, and why it’s essential for driving systemic change.
Build Your Advocacy Toolkit: Learn effective strategies for engaging with policymakers, stakeholders, and community members to champion & CHEER on the needs of the children and youth you serve.
Inspire Collective Action: Connect with fellow program providers to share experiences, insights, and ideas on how to use policy and advocacy as tools for positive change in your communities.
This workshop will leave you inspired and equipped to take bold steps in your advocacy efforts, ensuring that all children and youth have access to the high-quality OST programs they deserve.
